Music is a rich part of the history of Oakhurst Baptist Church. Though there are many activities within this ministry, the main goal is to worship and glorify God. Children and adults gather weekly to worship Jesus Christ and to discover the different ways in which we can share His love with our community.
The music ministry is intertwined with most of the ministries at OBC. As believers, everything we do should be bringing glory to God, and worshipping Him. Whether it’s our children’s ministry, senior adult ministry, or youth ministry, our vision for the OBC music ministry is to draw our church into the worship of Jesus Christ.

It is our desire to see all generations of our church represented during corporate worship. Our music ministry regularly schedules “Multi-Gen” worship services several times throughout our yearly worship calendar. This provides opportunities for the different age generations of our church family to come together to lead the congregation in worship.
